The Honeywell QuietCare HCM-6012i Console Humidifier is your two-in-one solution for combating dry household air while also reducing the amount of irritating airborne allergens in your home. This whole house humidifier continuously disperses comfortable, moisturized air that can help relieve the respiratory irritation that results from breathing in dry, wintry air. While it humidifies, the unit also uses specialized Air Washing Technology and an independent ionizer to “wash away” dirt, dust, and pollen particles in the air.

A ProTec Pure Moisture System helps this Honeywell humidifier produce fresher and cleaner moisture through a four-step process. First, a unique pre-filter captures dirt, dust, and pollen particles floating in the inbound air. Next, a ProTec Cleaning Cartridge, made with patented materials designed to inhibit the growth of mold and bacteria, helps prevent mineral buildup inside the humidifier. Thirdly, an antimicrobial-treated wicking filter helps prevent the growth of odor-causing mildew, algae, and fungus both on the surface of the filter and inside the unit. Lastly, an independently controlled ionizer releases negative ions into the outgoing humidified air. These negative ions will attach themselves to positively charged particles such as dirt, dust, pollen, and pet dander, forming larger particles that are more readily captured by the humidifier’s pre-filter. The result is noticeably cleaner and fresher air.

The Honeywell HCM-6012i cool mist humidifier is designed to automatically maintain your desired humidity level using its Advanced Mist Humidistat. To operate, simply set your desired humidity level, and the unit will cycle on and off to maintain that level.
