Recognized as a 2007 “Best Buy” by Consumers Digest magazine, this cool mist humidifier produces germ-free moisture using ultraviolet sanitizing light technology and a Protec antimicrobial-treated filter. Before being dispersed as a soothing vapor, the water stored at the base of the humidifier is treated with ultraviolet germicidal light that kills 99.9% of germs, bacteria, and mold spores. Water also passes through an antimicrobial extended life filter that helps prevent the growth of odor-causing bacteria and mold on the filter and inside the unit.

This Honeywell humidifier uses evaporative cool mist technology. During operation, an internal filter wicks up water from the base of the unit.
