Comments about Honeywell Ceramic Surround Heater (HZ-435):
I bought this heater today, and so far it's working well. I was surprised at how quickly and thoroughly it heats a room. It's not much to look at.... has a kind of industrial look, more like something I'd expect to find in a shop than in a home. But it does the job. It's 58 degrees outside, windy and rainy out there, but 72 degrees in my living room after having this heater on LOW for just a couple of hours.
At this point, based on minimal usage, I would recommend this heater. I've learned that sometimes products like this function well for a few days, then have problems. But based on the first couple of hours of use, it does the job well.
Re: it's appearance, the handle is big and klunky. The designers could learn something from Lasko in that regard. Their heaters are stylish and attractive. But I have to admit that this one does a better job. It's hard to believe it's only drawing 800 watts and producing this much heat.
The fan is a little loud.
