I like the product and will use it this winter,but there was no owners manual with it.
trying to get one is very hard to do. If anyone buys this product they will have to use the internet to get a owners manual from the manufacture. You can't talk to a live person on the phone it is all computers.

I INITIALLY WAS SATISFIED WITH THE PRODUCT. AFTER A FEW DAYS THOUGH THE THERMOSTAT WENT BAD AND IT WOULD NOT HEAT. ALTHOUGH I RETURNED IT AND RECEIVED A REFUND I PLAN TO PURCHASE ANOTHER ONE SOON. THAT'S THE REASON FOR AN AVERAGE RATING NOW.

The HZ617 is worth the $70 I paid for it. I wanted the Consumer Reports "Best Buy" 800 series but all distributors were out of stock. As it turns out this model is the same except it only has 2 fan speeds instead of 4. No big deal and I saved about $15.

Really did the trick in supplementing the heat in a basement studio sized apartment in a split level home. The 1st time the temperature got to 70 degrees downstairs and upstairs at the same time!

I have had this product for a few weeks now and I must say that I have been pleasantly surprised! I have a family room with vaulted ceilings and a drafty entryway. This baseboard heater warms the room very efficiently and reduces the amount of time that my household heater runs. I have been very pleased!
