The permanent HEPA filter is easy to clean. Simply vacuum the filter about twice a year, depending on use. The carbon pre-filter helps remove common household odors while helping to extend the life of the HEPA filter. This air purifier is equipped with convenient, energy-saving programmable controls, which allow you to preset the unit to shut-off when you are away and turn on when you generally use the room, thus minimizing energy costs. A remote control is included for added convenience.
