Using a commercial dehumidifier in your warehouse, plant, or commercial building to control humidity protects the structure itself as well as the merchandise and equipment within it. Poor insulation, large cargo doors and sometimes a lack of a central HVAC system result in warehouses that are subjected to extreme temperatures and high levels of humidity. The high humidity levels can be damaging to merchandise and can foster mold and mildew. Dehumidifying will alleviate these problems.
Dehumidifiers designed for warehouse or industrial use are rugged in construction, operate in low temperatures, cover a large square footage area with high air flow rates (to accommodate the typically high ceilings), and remove large quantities of water.
