I purchased the IQ HealthPro Plus, and this prefilter kit. I did't want the thing on wheels, but realized with the prefilter kit, there isn't a lot of space for air to move. To prevent suffocating the air cleaner (and not use wheels), I bought a set of those washer/dryer rubber anti-shake feet, and place them under the purifier. Perfecto. Won't roll around, has some clearance, and probably doesn't vibrate the floor as much (not that I noticed). Pre-filter was easy to install, and well constructed. Recommended.

I have a lot of dust where I live, so I thought this additional filter would help to preserve the superb functioning of my IQAir unit. I've been running the unit with this dust filter for about a month now, and there is a definite reduction in the amount of dust in the house. It was very simple and easy to install, and the instructions were perfect. I suspect it will help to keep the main filters from clogging up with pet hair too. I intend to use my IQAir system for many, many years, so I think of this additional filtering as an insurance policy. Well worth the price and highly recommended.

Since birth, I have suffered with chronic bronchial asthma. However, in the fall of 2004, I purchased three IQAir HealthPro Systems for my home: 2 regular HealthPros and one Compact, and I have been able to breathe 100% easier ever since. I see the doctor once a month now, not every two weeks as I had to do before I bought these awesome air treatment systems. Every time I see my doctor, he remarks how thrilled he is with the way my lungs sound. He tells me he has never heard me sound so uncongested and that my lungs are "lear as a bell", and for me, that is teriffic.

Unfortunately, the filter replacements are somewhat expensive, but my doctor bills were a great deal worse. Therefore, I believe that my health, my ability to do more is because I feel better, which outweighs the price for the filters.

HONESTLY, I DO replace my filters once every six months instead of once a year because with these systems I can have a dog, and I live near the ocean and sand is constantly finding its way into my home. However, with the new washable pre-filter kit, I have a much better control over my own environment.

If someone could invent one that could be big enough and tall enough to reach the outer layer of our atmosphere, I believe that these IQAir Treatment Systems could and would put a stop to global warming.

The air quality in my home is now impeccable.
