IQ Air Pre-Filters from Sylvane is the best for me!

I purchased IQ Air HealthPro about 12 years ago and it still works great. At the time I was using an Austin Air as well as an ionizer. Since birth, I have had tested allergic to dust and various fragrances. I definitely could tell an improvement with the IQ Air HealthPro in that it seemed to remove finer particulates from the air and it felt easier to breath. I was so impressed that I bought a second IQ Air - this time a HealthPro Plus with the V5 odor and gas removal cell. It is still working great as well. Sometimes lately either one will make a slight high pitch noise but I have found if I move it around on the tile floor, the high pitch noise goes away; so I think the motor may be sensitive to being off balance but I am not sure about that.

This review is for the pre-filters. It is very easy to install and the indicator light comes on to tell you it is time to replace it. You can change how often the light comes on either sooner or later depending upon what works for your household. The directions for how to change the indicator lights from the factory default is in the instructions. Also after easily replacing the pre-filter you simply follow instructions to reset the indicator light back to green (all systems go) but IQ Air is nice enough to enclose the instructions with the filters so you don't have to look it up in the original manaul.

At times over the years, I have wondered if my allergies were cured so I would try turning off the air purifiers. When I turned it back on over the next couple of days I could definitely tell an improvement in ease of breathing, relaxation, comfort, and less sinus congestion. I hope it means less to dust and clean as well! As I have been using these two machines for over a decade, you can well imagine that I have purchased A LOT of filters!

Sylvane is my seller of choice for the filters. When I purchase a new air purifier, I will definitely consult them! I actually had two sellers other than Sylvane have IQAir factory send them the filter and then put it in a box and then send the filter to me!
