The Perfect 16 Purification System
The Perfect 16 system works as part of your home’s HVAC system. What this means is that every time the air passes through your HVAC system, the air also passes through the whole-home filtration system. Although most HVAC systems already use some type of air filter, the Perfect 16 system is vastly superior to traditional filters.
Micro-Fiber Technology -
The filter used in this system is manufactured using “micro-fibers”. These fibers are 10 times thinner than the ones used in conventional furnace filters. Although air can pass through the micro-fibers easily, they form an intricate web that is practically impenetrable to airborne pollutants. The Perfect 16 filter traps even the smallest airborne particles – such as bacteria, mold, pollen, dust and VOCs – and keeps them from re-entering your home.
V2 Design - Most furnace filters are flat barriers that the air passes through as it cycles though the HVAC system. The goal of these filters is to clean away just the largest air pollutants while not impeding air flow within the system. The goal of the Perfect 16 system, however, is to remove even the smallest airborne particles - while still allowing maximum airflow. To do this, the IQAir filter is designed using a unique double “V” shape. This shape allows the purifier to hold 50 times more media material than conventional filters, and still operate with very little pressure drop.
