Heat and Energy Saver Mode

Many window ACs include additional modes to keep you comfortable, but the LG LW1212HR uses 2 modes that many ACs don't offer. The first is an Energy Saver mode. In this money- and energy-saving mode, the fan stops when the compressor finishes cooling and your set temperature is reached. Every few minutes the AC will test the air and, if needed, the fan will kick on to maintain your room temperature. It won't run continuously like in Cool mode though, so your room remains comfortable while using less energy.

This model's Heat mode uses up to 9,200 BTUs of power to provide supplemental heat to your space. Simply select Heat mode on the digital control board and warm air will begin to fill your room. The 3 other modes the LG LW1212HR offers include:

• Cool: Up to 12,000 BTUs are used to quickly cool your living room, bedroom or other space.
• Fan: When Cool mode isn’t needed, just turn on the fan to circulate air and avoid stuffiness.
• Dry: Remove up to 3.3 pints of excess moisture from your room while in Dry mode.

Simple Operation

The LG LW1212HR Air Conditioner has an easy-to-use digital control board that lets you make quick setting changes like choosing a new mode or fan speed. You can also make changes with its remote control. Simply set your room temperature and other settings, and this window AC does the rest for you—so you can go about your daily activities.

You also set the programmable timer on the control board. The timer lets you control the temperature of your room even when you're not there. Schedule your AC to turn on or off up to 24 hours in advance to be sure it's only running when needed.
