Designed for multiple cleaning applications, this HEPA vacuum locks dust and dirt in the sealed filtration system and provides constant relief for asthma- and allergy-sufferers. This lightweight vacuum cleaner is easy to carry up and down the stairs and it easily tucks away for compact storage. The Miele S2181 Titan Vacuum Cleaner is equipped with three attachment tools, six adjustable suction settings, and a quiet 1,200-watt motor system.

Cleaning difficult areas is no hassle with the attachment tools included with the Miele Titan S2181 Canister Vacuum. The dusting brush easily removes visible dust on ceiling fans, shelves, and window blinds. The crevice tool removes stubborn dirt and crumbs from hard-to-reach areas such as under cabinets, between appliances, and inside air vents. Easily refresh upholstery and sofa cushions with the upholstery brush. This handy tool provides a gentle, yet thorough clean on curtains, carpeted stairs, and mattresses.

Adjusts Suction Power for Each Surface

The Miele Titan Vacuum Cleaner features a rotary dial power selector that allows you to adjust the motor speed and suction power according to the surface you are cleaning. The rotary power selector includes six adjustable power levels with a user-friendly icon for each setting. Using the manual knob, you can increase or decrease the suction power from minimum to maximum for the following applications:

• Low-pile carpets
• Tiles and hard floors
• Light vacuuming with minimal sound

Designed to thoroughly clean various surfaces without polluting the air, the Miele S2181 Titan not only cleans your home, but also treats the air that comes through and out of the vacuum. In addition to a pre-motor filter that protects the vacuum motor from collecting dirt, this Miele S2 vacuum cleaner also includes an Active HEPA Filter.

The HEPA filter captures 99.99% of dust mites, pet dander, pollen, and other particles as small as 0.3 microns and releases clean air back into your space. Additionally, this sealed filter cartridge also features a layer of activated charcoal for odor control. The Generally Activated Charcoal material absorbs food and pet odors and deodorizes foul smells in the dustbag.

For more effective odor control, you can swap out the Active HEPA Filter with Miele's Active Air Clean Filter (sold separately). This filter blends the Air Clean filtration technology with an activated charcoal cassette to absorb pet and household odors better than the Active HEPA Exhaust Filter. The Active Air Clean Filter also captures and retains 99.5% of allergen particles as small as 0.5 microns.

Secures Dirt and Dust in Sealed Bag

Many vacuum cleaners pick up loads of dirt and debris off of your floors and upholstery only to distribute tiny particles back into your indoor air through the exhaust vent or out of the dustbag opening. The Miele Titan Vacuum Cleaner uses an AirClean FilterBag, which features self-locking technology.

When the vacuum door is opened, the dustbag automatically snaps closed, making it impossible for captured debris particles to be released back into your home. The Auto-Seal filter bag features a quick-snap hook that makes it easy to lift the dustbag out of the vacuum chamber and easily discard it without getting dirt on your hands or distributing dust particles back into the air.

The dustbag is made of 9 layers of electrostatically charged woven fibers that effectively capture and contain dirt, dust, and debris particles. Each AirClean Filter Bag holds 4.76 quarts of collected debris. Type G/N replacement dustbag packs (sold separately) include four dustbags, a pre-motor filter, and an exhaust filter.
