LOVE this vacuum! I have never been able to say that about a vacuum before. It has great attachments, great settings, great suction. Love the bags that self-seal to keep particulates inside. Went from a bagless to this, and will never look back. SO much better for us allergy sufferers. Only con, and it is a small one, is that it is a bit on the heavy side, which makes doing stairs a bit tiring.

This is a very good, solid vacuum cleaner. The only thing that may detract from it is the weight.

I bought this Miele for my wife. This is her 2nd Miele. We have an S2 canister vacuum that she just loved, but it was mainly suited for hardwood floors. A job change forced us to relocate; the new house has wall-to-wall carpet. So, I bought her the upright because it was well rated, especially for pet hair. We have 2 labs and she loves the new Miele. They are quiet and reliable. They don't fall apart constantly like Hoovers do. What else can I say? Sylvane had it to us quickly without any problems in shipment.

I've always wanted a Miele and after looking over consumer reports this model was top rated. It has awesome power. The attachments are super easy to use. It does not have a cord gatherer that is automatic which is kind of a drag. I do like the swivel action of the full body. This vacuum is very very heavy...I would not recommend using it on multiple floors unless you are looking for a good workout!

I was very excited when my Miele vacuum arrived. I have owned several vacuums over the past three years, including two different model Hoovers, two Kenmore (Sears Brand) and one Oreck. I have two large Labs and a Plott hound all of whom shed a significant amount. The Oreck was terrible at removing the pet hair from my deep pile carpets. The hoovers were better, but still left hair. The Kenmore brand I found to be very good until sparks began coming from the area where the cord connects to the unit.
That is when I read about the Miele vacuum. I decided that after all the money I had already spent on vacuums it might be worth a try. This vacuum is the best one of them all. The attachment is so easy to use. I especially like how simple it is to vacuum my stairs. The swivel handle makes going around furniture and under the bed easy. I can get closer to the wall as well. The main level of my home is all tile and this vacuum makes the floor feel like is was freshly moped. Which is amazing with the amount of hair and dirt my dogs and kids drag through the house. This vacuum does an amazing job and hope it will be serving our family for years to come.
