For commercial applications, the MicroVac is ideal for mold, lead, or asbestos remediation. In fact, the MicroVac is recommended for any contractor seeking to comply with the EPA Lead Renovation, Repair and Painting (RRP) Program. This vacuum includes the high quality HEPA filter, which is necessary to ensure that harmful lead dust is safely captured and contained.

At home, use the MicroVac vacuum to capture and remove common allergens like pollen, dust, mold, animal dander, and dust mites. These allergens often collect in carpeting, draperies, bedding, and furniture.

Unlike conventional vacuums, which exhaust unseen contaminants back into the air and may actually cause an allergic reaction, the Minuteman MicroVac Vacuum traps harmful allergens and particles with progressively finer stages of filtration. Its four-stage filtration system includes a disposable paper dust bag, a washable embossed polyester filter bag, a disposable impact filter and a HEPA. (High Efficiency Particulate Air) filter that is 99.97% efficient in removing allergens measuring 0.3 microns and larger.

As an added precaution, if the HEPA. filter is removed, the vacuum will not operate. This patented safety interlock system ensures user safety and prevents allergens from being redistributed back into the air.
