Minuteman X-829 15-Gallon Vacuum

The Minuteman X-829 Vacuum is built for insulation and abatement contractors and other professionals who clean up mold, lead, and asbestos. It’s also widely used in industries where cleanup of hexavalent chromium is needed, such as stainless steel manufacturing and welding. This vacuum consists of a durable polyethylene collection tank and sealed 5-stage ULPA filtration to exceed government requirements for particle control. It is available as a Dry or Wet/Dry model.

Big on performance, the Minuteman X829 Vacuum Cleaner exceeds government and military standards on particle control by 2.5 times. This means that the vacuum cleaner captures smaller particles than other competitive ULPA filter models. The X-829 series vacuum is equipped with a ULPA filter that is 99.999% efficient at 0.12 microns. Minuteman vacuum filters are more resistant to puncturing, tears, leaks, abrasions, and damage from moisture, so you and your environment stay protected from hazardous materials. The Wet/Dry Vacuum consists of a 4-stage filtration process, and the Dry-Only Vacuum has 5-stage filtration.

Patented Microswitch for Safety

The Minuteman X-829's ULPA filter features a patented safety interlock system with a unique microswitch. Mounted internally, the ULPA filter protects both the operator and the motor from contamination and prevents damage to the filter while the machine is being transported. During operation, if the ULPA filter is not properly aligned and in place, the vacuum will not start, protecting both the operator and the environment. This tiny microswitch only activates when this alignment is achieved.

Maximum Suction Power Many Minuteman vacuums are unique because they feature patented self-sealing intakes that ensure a positive vacuum seal while still allowing hoses to swivel for maximum cleaning convenience. The sure-grip quick release mechanism makes it easy to connect and remove hoses. For flexibility, the intake accommodates 1 1/4-inch and 1 1/2-inch hoses, making it adaptable to virtually any application. The Dry-Only model has a 105-inch waterlift and 110 cubic feet per minute (CFM) for strong suctioning power.

Patented Leak-Proof Adapter

Similar to the Minuteman X829 Dry Vacuum, the X-829 Wet/Dry Vacuum also features a polyethylene adapter. This UniAdapter quickly attaches to the machine, forming a leakproof seal with the vacuum tank below. The patented UniAdapter is rotational-molded for rugged durability, so it won't dent, corrode, or rust. The UniAdapter fits existing polyethylene, steel, and stainless steel ULPA models to convert them for wet/dry cleaning. The one-piece design makes wet recovery safer and easier.

Top-Filling Design Doubles Cleaning Capacity

In addition to increasing safety, the UniAdapter also boosts the X-829's cleaning efficiency. Its top-filling design more than doubles the vacuum's cleaning capacity to accommodate large disposable 6-mil plastic bags, making emptying less frequent, more convenient, and safer. All X-829 cloth filters are 100% polyester, non-woven, and are "dimpled" to provide 50% more filtration a standard, smooth bag.
