These high-powered spot coolers will provide excellent cooling with the reliability and performance one can expect from commercial grade units. MovinCool is an "air cooled" self-contained air conditioner with wheels. "Air cooled" refers to a compressor-based refrigerant system that utilizes air to exchange heat, similar to a car or household air conditioner. As a byproduct, air is dehumidified as it is cooled. These units are easy to use - roll them into position, plug them in, and turn them on. If you are in an enclosed room, you will need to exhaust the warm air from the top of the unit out of the room. The drop ceiling space in a typical office will usually satisfy this requirement, please call to discuss whether applicable in your situation. Unlike cheaper units meant for residential use, Movincool units can remain on the floor and do not have to be elevated closer to the ceiling for hot air exhaust into a drop ceiling. For ease of installation, warm air discharge kits are available for use with drop ceilings.
When cooling - you can expect an average temperature drop of 15° to 25° F, from ambient temperature, depending on chosen model and your level of humidity, e.g. low humidity = high temperature drop, high humidity = low temperature drop.
Warranty: One year on the entire unit, three years on the compressor (parts and labor).
