The 10,500-BTU unit fits into nearly any drop-ceiling, making it an ideal cooling solution for server rooms and telecom equipment rooms with limited floor space.

Packing more than 20 years of spot cooling experience in server and equipment rooms, MovinCool has devised the perfect small-space cooling solution in the CM12 ceiling air conditioner. It is often a challenge for many facility managers to find an appropriate system to cool confined spaces that house critical – and extremely heat-sensitive – electronic equipment. A lack of adequate ventilation and central air conditioning in these spaces, combined with the heat generated by operation, can quickly spell disaster for this costly equipment.

Moreover, while a portable or window air conditioner may seem like a proper cooling solution, these units are often not applicable because many server and telecom rooms lack windows through which these appliances must vent exhaust. Another issue – cramped quarters can barely accommodate another electronic appliance. Fortunately, the MovinCool CM12 Ceiling-Mounted Air Conditioner solves these important concerns. The unit:

Reliable System Monitoring

The MovinCool CM12's internal controller is equipped with a warning signal output relay type (Form-C, normal, open dry contact). This capability can be used to monitor the system's operation and condition. In the event of a system shut-down caused by condensation overflow, a temperature sensor failure, or a cooling function failure, the controller will send out a signal to any connected warning devices. Compatible devices may include alarm speakers, light indicators, and other similar alerting devices.

Fire Alarm Communication

The MovinCool CM12 spot cooler's controller is also equipped with a normal open input signal. This can be connected directly to the fire alarm control panel. When it receives a signal from the fire alarm control panel, the CM12 unit will shut off and remain in that state until the power source is reset.
