This vacuum is extremely lightweight and straps in nicely on my back. It is very manuverable without anything getting in the way. The accessories are also very light. It is very convenient with great flexibility in the adjustable length of the hose and accessories. It easily reaches all areas underneath even large furniture such as a bed, made easier by the swiveling head of the floor attachment. We even received an extra accessory, the motorized floor attachment, which we had not expected. The length of the cord is astonishing, allowing me to clean an entire floor of the house without moving the plug and goes up and down the stairs without any trouble whatsoever. The cord is very thick, high quality. This vacuum really makes regular residential vacuum cleaners look like garbage. I also think it is really pretty, especially compared to residential vacuums which tend to be large, unwieldy, and underpowered. My husband and I are in the midst of a large and messy house remodel, and our little GD10 Back has done a wonderful job of cleaning up after all the dust from wood, brick, plaster, and whatever else has been tossed around in our house. The only thing that I would recommend is the addition of an optional carrying handle for those rare times when one just wants to move the vacuum without slinging it. Other than that, this is a perfect vacuum for me. I am entirely pleased and would recommend this vacuum to anyone, especially those with medium to large houses. Thank you Nilfisk for such an amazing little, but powerful vacuum cleaner!

I have been a Nilfisk vacuum owner for 20 years and could never find another brand that worked as well; I ordered the back-strap model for ease of moving through my home without having to drag a cannister with me. I have a 2-story home and being able to travel throughout most of the house with the vacuum strapped to my back is wonderful. It is not that heavy but it did take just a little bit of time getting used the the vacuum on my back. Once I did, I really began to appreciate the ease of use.
