Typically the larger the amount of carbon in the unit – the more odors and chemical vapors the unit can remove from the air before the filter will need to be replaced.

Some units will also feature additional enhancements to purify your air of particulates (dust, pollen, mold spores, etc.) while also cleaning your air of odors & chemicals.
