Additionally, the R175 LGR comes with an easy-to-read and easy-to-adjust control panel, focused airflow, convenient cord storage, and an easy-to-access MERV-7 pleated air filter. An internal condensate pump and multiple ducting options ensure that excess moisture is effectively removed and fresh, dry air is circulated throughout your environment.

Heavy-Duty Moisture Removal

Phoenix engineers designed the R175 dehumidifier to meet and exceed their Proven Performance ™ standards with this low-grain refrigerant dehumidifier. The result was an LGR dehumidifier that effectively removes 30% more moisture than similar-sized dehumidifiers and features a sturdy, compact housing that benefits restoration professionals and their clients.

The Phoenix R175 removes up to 92 pints of excessive moisture per day at AHAM conditions and 168 pints at saturation. Best of all, this dehumidifier draws only 6.3 amps of power, ensuring that your job is completed quickly and cost-effectively. An internal condensate pump and 33-foot condensate hose efficiently remove collected water from the machine. Plus, this Phoenix dehumidifier can accommodate multiple ducting options, including a 12-inch intake duct that can be placed on the lid and a 10-inch supply duct that can be placed on the back of the unit. This Phoenix LGR dehumidifier is also efficiently designed so that warm, dehumidified air exits from the lower front of the dehumidifier—closest to damp floors.

Easy to Move, Easy to Store

The Phoenix R175 housing was designed to meet the demands of water restoration professionals—including ease of mobility, stability, and space-saving storage.  This Phoenix industrial dehumidifier features a roto-mold body that resists dents and dings and also takes advantage of a granite-infused pigment to camouflage minor scuffs and scratches. More importantly, the R175’s housing has chamfered corners to prevent damage to walls and other wood structures on job sites.

A convenient telescoping handle, 12-inch recessed wheels, and balanced weight distribution stabilize the R175 to make maneuvering it a breeze. Additionally, the telescoping handle can be retracted for easy storage. Plus, the recessed wheels make it easy to nest one R175 onto another one. The top grille also provides storage for the condensate tubing and the electric cord.

Solid State Control Panel

Located on the back of the Phoenix R175 LGR is the solid state control panel. This simple control panel features the following functions:

• Power Button: Use this button to turn the dehumidifier on or off.
• Purge Button: Although the R175 internal condensate pump cycles automatically every four minutes, the Purge button allows you to manually remove water from the dehumidifier when necessary. For example, the R175 should be purged before transport or storage.
• Hours Button: When pressed, this button displays cumulative hours and job hours to the tenth of an hour on the digital display. The Hours button can also be activated for 10 seconds when the dehumidifier is unplugged. This useful feature allows you to accurately log the dehumidifier’s status when it is on the truck or in the warehouse.
• Defrost Light: This light illuminates when the R175 LGR is defrosting. It also indicates when the compressor is off.

• MERV-7 Filter: This pleated filter collects particles, such as dust, pet dander, and pollen, as small as 3 microns to protect the life of your dehumidifier and prevent these irritants from being redistributed throughout your environment.
• Accurate Psychrometric Readings: The R175 outlet grille was configured to accept a variety of thermo-hygrometer probes for accurate psychrometric readings.
• Wide Operating Temperature: This Phoenix dehumidifier can operate in temperatures as low as 33 degrees F and as high as 105 degrees F.
• Float Safety Switch: If the water rises too high in the condensate reservoir, this safety switch automatically turns the compressor off until the water level is lowered.
