The Port-A-Cool 16-Inch Pneumatic Evaporative Cooler effectively cools workshops, construction sites, industrial plants, and other hazardous environments. The Port-A-Cool PAC2K16AD cools enclosed spaces with a maximum airflow rate of 2,200 CFM. Ideal for commercial use and special applications, this heavy-duty cooler uses compressed air to lower temperatures in dry, arid climates.

While refrigerant air conditioners use harmful chemicals to cool the air, the Port-A-Cool PAC2K16AD 16-Inch Evaporative Cooler uses only water and air. Every minute, up to 2,200 cubic feet of hot air is drawn into the evaporative cooler and passes through an evaporative cooling pad. When the moving air is brought into contact with the water-saturated pad, evaporation occurs as the heat from the hot air causes the water molecules to transform into a gas. The evaporative cooling pad absorbs the heat out of the air and the swamp cooler disperses cool air throughout your space.

How it Works

The Port-A-Cool 16-Inch Air Mover is powered by compressed air instead of electricity for safe and energy-efficient operation. Using an air amplifier, the evaporative cooler provides maximum air movement for effective cooling in hazardous locations.

The control panel contains two air compressors that are connected to the air blower through an air mover tube. After warm air is evaporated into cool air in the unit, pressurized air moves through the tube to push the cool air through the air horn into your space. The high volume of air immediately cools your space and lowers temperatures by up to 30 degrees Fahrenheit.

Powerful Airflow

Traditional air conditioners often recirculate the same stale air, creating a stuffy, uncomfortable environment. The Port-A-Cool 16-Inch Pneumatic Drive Evaporative Cooler drives out warm air and delivers a constant supply of fresh air.  When the swamp cooler is positioned properly, hot, dry air is exhausted through the back of the unit.
