Its features include an intricate triple HEPA filtration system, a 2-horsepower, 2-stage motor, and durable construction consisting of a heavy-duty polyethylene tank and dump valve. The strong motor facilitates a 105-inch water lift. It is a bypass motor, meaning that vacuumed air never passes the bearing area—this prevents debris from causing damage.

Advanced HEPA Filtration

The 102ASB-12P is equipped with a 3-stage filtration system to ensure that such hazardous particulates as lead dust don’t escape the exhaust. The HEPA filters are individually tested to certify minimum efficiency of 99.97% at .3 microns to keep with IEST-RP-CC001 requirements. They ‘e made out of a single piece of high-quality material to prevent leaking. Filter pleats are held up with corrugated aluminum separators for optimal airflow.

A polyester pre-filter at the base of the HEPA filter is fastened with Velcro. It is 1 inch thick to absorb impact, protecting the HEPA filter. A Dracon filter bag covers the whole spacer sleeve. This sleeve separates the Dracon bag from the HEPA filter to keep the vacuum from clogging.
