I have a few of my employees use this heater. It is quiet and warm and uses only about 20% the power. I had problems before with some 1500 watt under desk heaters that would trip the breaker every once in a while when they would come on all at the same time. The only drawback is that sometimes they leave them on overnight (including me). The energy savings makes up for the higher price, I think. I've used it for 6 seasons and still working.

This heater was the answer to all my problems! I've tried many different under-desk heaters and this is the best. It gives off gentle, even heat. Its color and slim profile make it look innocuous. And best of all, it's absolutely silent. Fan heaters dry out my skin and the on-and-off cycling make my legs feel alternately hot and cold. The steady heat from this radiant heater is so much better. Plus, it uses much less power.
