Constructed with a three-piece design, the 12.5-amp heater is easily installed in either a surface-mount or recessed-mount configuration. Built for Uniform Heating

Inside, Qmark ECP1524 heaters feature steel-finned, metal sheath electric heating elements that maintain low sheath temperatures for similar-feeling warmth with every use. The ECP1524 heater requires little maintenance outside of periodic operation adjustments. The heater should be cleaned annually to remove dust and other foreign material that has collected during the heating season.

Mounting Tips

The 27-pound Qmark ECP1524 Electric Wall Heater can be surface- or recessed-mounted into 2-foot by 4-foot or larger wall sections. It is designed to fit between two 16-inch center-to-center wall studs. Full mounting instructions are provided in the installation manual. Note these tips for installation:

• When recessed-mounted, the wall heater extends 1.625 inches from a wall.
• When it is surface-mounted, the heater extends 4.625 inches from the wall.
• In both mounting applications, do not install the heater closer than 3 inches from the floor, 12 inches from adjacent walls, or 18 inches from the ceiling.
• Recessed installation requires that you prepare a wall opening measuring 14.5 inches wide by 23.375 inches high.
• Heater grille dimensions are 26.25 inches high by 16.25 inches wide.
