This 1,500-watt, 240-volt European-style wall heater – manufactured by Marley Engineered Products – heats almost any room with ease, including bedrooms, bathrooms, dens, offices, and other small spaces. Constructed with a three-piece design, the 12.5-amp heater is easily installed in either a surface-mount or recessed-mount configuration. These wall-mounting options allow you to conserve valuable floor space instead of using bulky portable heaters to enjoy the benefits of whole room heat.

Built for Uniform Heating

Each Qmark wall heater is built with sturdy components that contribute to a long operating life and uniform heat production. Inside, Qmark ECP1524 heaters feature steel-finned, metal sheath electric heating elements that maintain low sheath temperatures for similar-feeling warmth with every use. For even heat distribution, each unit's front grille is designed with tightly spaced bars to help airflow toward the middle of your space. These bars also act as a safety deterrent, discouraging the insertion of foreign objects and curious fingers.

During operation, the wall heater warms your space using both convection and radiant heat processes – not a loud internal fan. Cool air is drawn up from the floor and into the heater's convector. The air is then warmed and released back into your room. Constant airflow helps prevent uncomfortable hot and cold pockets that may develop in your space. The heater's front cover acts as a radiant panel, warming objects in your room similar to how the sun warms objects in the environment. The heater's fanless design makes it suitable for spaces where quiet operation is a must.

Easy Maintenance

With its three-piece construction design, this Qmark heater allows for easy maintenance and access to internal components. The separate pieces include a steel backbox, a steel heatdeck, and a thermo-plastic front grille. Field wiring conveniently connects the backbox with the heater, and the heatdeck connects the backbox with a heavy-duty plug-in socket connector. A large wiring compartment is easily accessible from the front of the heater to allow for fast and easy electrical hookup. The ECP1524 heater requires little maintenance outside of periodic operation adjustments. The heater should be cleaned annually to remove dust and other foreign material that has collected during the heating season.

Mounting Tips

The 27-pound Qmark ECP1524 Electric Wall Heater can be surface- or recessed-mounted into 2-foot by 4-foot or larger wall sections. It is designed to fit between two 16-inch center-to-center wall studs. Full mounting instructions are provided in the installation manual. Note these tips for installation:

• When recessed-mounted, the wall heater extends 1.625 inches from a wall.
• When it is surface-mounted, the heater extends 4.625 inches from the wall.
• In both mounting applications, do not install the heater closer than 3 inches from the floor, 12 inches from adjacent walls, or 18 inches from the ceiling.
• Recessed installation requires that you prepare a wall opening measuring 14.5 inches wide by 23.375 inches high.
• Heater grille dimensions are 26.25 inches high by 16.25 inches wide.

• Remote Thermostat Control – This Qmark heater is designed for use with remote wall thermostats to give you maximum comfort in your space.
• Heating Large Areas – Multiple ECP1524 heaters can be used to heat larger rooms. Be sure to determine the appropriate heating watt level for your space using heat loss calculations. As a rule of thumb, use 10 watts of heat per square foot of space.
• Contemporary Style – The ECP1524 heater's contemporary European style features soft curves on the unit edges, avoiding the sharp corners of a square design.
• Color – The high-temperature plastic front grille is white to blend easily with any décor.
