The BioGS is Rabbit Air's signature air purifier. This air purifier is a sleek and stylish way to completely clean the air you breathe. The BioGS innovative system uses three stages of filtration to remove a range of air quality problems such as dust, pollen, mold, bacteria, cigarette smoke, and odors.

3 Stages of Filtration

1. Washable Pre-filter: The pre-filter traps and removes the largest pollution particles, such as dust, pet hair, mold, and fungus, from the air. For your convenience, this filter is completely washable and reusable.
   
   
2. BioGS HEPA Filter: The BioGS HEPA filter is truly an amazing innovation. This one filter is able to provide multi-level filtration for you air.
   • HEPA Filter - Fundamentally, this filter qualifies as a doctor-recommended High Efficiency Particulate Air (HEPA) filter. As such, it removes at least 99.97% of airborne particles 0.3 micrometers in diameter, such as dust mites, pollen, pet dander, dust, bacteria, and fungus.
     
     
   • Destroys Allergens - The BioGS HEPA filter uses specially-engineered fiber material which not only traps, but also destroys allergens. By destroying allergens, the filter is able to retain efficiency and last longer. These filters can operate up to 3 years before needing replacement, significantly longer than most traditional HEPA filters.
     
     
   • Removes Odors - Strong odors are removed through the HEPA filter as well. Independent laboratory results show that most common household odors are eliminated, including cigarette smoke, within 6 hours of operation. Ammonia and formaldehyde are also removed.
     
     
   • Antimicrobial - The unique BioGS HEPA material also provides additional antimicrobial protection which is effective against bacteria, yeasts, mold, and fungi.
     
     
   • Anti-Flu Coating - A special anti-influenza virus agent coating effectively lowers the viral infectivity of airborne flu viruses. In fact, the Osaka Public Health Research Center in Japan has shown that the BioGS HEPA filter can effectively lower the viral infectivity of the H3N2 flu virus - a strain similar to that of the avian flu virus.
     
     
3. Honeycomb Activated Carbon Filter: Activated carbon filters remove gasses and odors from the air. This filter will eliminate: common household odors, Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs), chemical substances, pet odors, and cigarette odor. The Rabbit Air carbon filter is washable, with a long-usage life span. Recommended replacement is every 3 years.
