Product Overview

If you need a small but powerful unit, the ARP-1010 is the right portable air conditioner for you. It is a full 10% smaller than other units in its class, so it easily fits where larger, bulky units can’t. This unit has top-mounted adjustable louvers to allow for optimum air flow no matter where the unit is placed.

Dehumidify Mode
These units feature a dehumidify-only mode to keep your indoor humidity level in balance. The ARP-1010 can extract up to 3.8 pints of water per hour. It is important to note that when extracting large volumes of water in the dehumidifier mode, excess water will collect in the internal tank. The air conditioner will automatically turn off once the tank is full, until emptied. You may also use the continuous drain hose included as a no-fuss way to eliminate excess water as needed.

Settings
Setting the temperature and other preferences is a snap with the easy-to-read digital display on the main body. Here you can:

• Fully adjust the thermostat.
• Choose between three fan speeds.
• Set the built-in timer.
• Switch to dehumidify mode.

Use the remote control to access all the same features found on the unit’s control panel.

Timer
A convenient feature of the portable air conditioner is that it can be set using the integrated timer to run between 1 and 24 hours. This is a great attribute if you only need to run the unit for a specific amount of time -- protecting you from leaving the unit on when it is not needed. For example, you may opt to set the timer to run the unit at night and then automatically turn off when you go to work. Or, set the air conditioner to turn on before you come home from work and come home to a room that is cool and comfortable.
