We recently purchased and installed the Santa Fe Advance dehumidifier to address serious humidity concerns in our crawl space. Since we couldn't find a way to pipe the condensation downhill, we added the optional condensate pump to move water away from the unit. The pump does not ship with the long tubing you will need to route water out of the space, but this tubing was easy to find and inexpensive at our local hardware store. We opted to splice this tubing into our existing HVAC condensate line so that all water drains from the house together. We are not plumbing experts but the installation was simple and only took about fifteen minutes. Fittings are secure and we haven't experienced any noticeable leakage.
One word of caution – be sure not to attach the condensate pump until after the unit is securely positioned and you won't be moving it at all again. The pump attaches to the unit with just one screw and a flexible tube, so it appears quite delicate. This is no problem at all when the dehumidifier is stationary, but we were careful to detach the condensate pump when we discovered that we needed to move our dehumidifier by just a few feet. Again, not a big deal to do since attachment/detachment are really straightforward.
Overall, the pump seems to work as designed and is moving a good amount of water from our space. I like that the clear tubing allows you to "see" the dehumidifier and the pump in action…if you care to sit in your crawl space and watch it.

This is a good pump. It is very quiet, reliable, and has plenty of force to drain the water to the drainage location 15+ feet away. I give it only 3 stars because I specifically bought this pump to mount to my Santa Fe Advance dehumidifier. The mount provides only one screw. Unless the pump is perfectly supported at the right level, the one screw is insufficent causing one end of the pump to drop. Furthermore, when properly mounted with support, there is very little drop from the condensate outlet on the unit to the pump. I ended up raising the unit on half-size cement blocks and putting the pump on the floor - exactly what I was trying to avoid with a mountable pump. Aside from the mount, it's a great pump.

Easy enough to install although i did change to PVC to run the pump from under the house out the side. Has been working very well.

We had to buy the Santa Fe Advance Pump kit for the Santa Fe Advance dehumidifier because the only drain available through the block in the laundry room from the subfloor is about 2 feet higher than the dehumidifier. At first, I thought it was not working because two hours after installation, it was full of water. However. I noticed a few drops of water inside the drain tube in the laundry room and put a bucket under the tube to collect the water. In about 4 days or so, 4 gallons of moisture was collected. It works after all, I just didn't see the pump come on.
A month later, the subfloor is much less moist with the Advance set at 45% humidity. Neither the dehumidifier nor the pump come on often any more. We cannot hear either from inside the house.

This is a well-built pump. It hangs off one of the philips head screws on the side of the dehumidifier. I think an extra mounting hole would be handy for the pump to hang on. With one screw, the pump sags a little on the end where the large hose feeds it. I propped up that end up with a rock found under the house. The pump does the job. It efficiently moves the condensate out to the AC evaporator drain in my crawlspace. Having the pump gives flexibility to placement of the Advance dehumidifier.

Functions as advertised. Currently pumps through tube over 40 feet including a 5 ft. vertical climb. Attached to Santa Fe Advance unit. Attach design poor/unstable using only one screw. I added a wire to the pump and fastened to the main unit. Better hold. Two electric wires which serve no function dangle from the pump.

I had been using the standard condensate pump connected to a household dehumidifier to remove humidity from the crawl space of our house. Once I realized that the underpowered household dehumidifier was not a good solution, I bought the Santa Fe Advance dehumidifier as a replacement and it really solved the problem. The Advance dehumidifier allows connection of the lower profile condensate pump kit (designed especially for attachment to the Santa Fe Advance). I initially thought that there would be little or no difference compared to my old pump kit, but I decided to get a new pump since I had already made the investment in the new dehumidifier (designed especially to remove humidity from a crawl space). I decided to go ahead and get the exact pump solution that my project required too.
This pump kit provided a clean, neat configuration for the total solution to eliminating moisture since this pump fit onto the dehumidifier itself and water transferred directly from the dehumidifier into the pump, reducing the potential for water spillage or leakage at the point of origin. Once I connected the drainage hose to the pump -- running it almost directly up to the top of the crawl space and then gradually lower to one of the air vents in the crawl (which I had completely sealed) to the front yard -- I tested the configuration. It works great and I no longer worry about the moisture levels.
The Santa Fe Advance Pump Kit is easy to install because of its low profile design and it functions extremely well. I know this because I track the humidity levels on a daily basis. I am totally satisfied with the total solution to our crawl space moisture problem.
