This Pump Does the Job!

By Daryl

Comments about Santa Fe - Optional Condensate Pump (4022220):

The pump is very easy to attach. We attached ours to a Santa Fe Classic. It works great. We originally had our Santa Fe with the pump about 10 feet away from the drain. It worked great at that distance. Our drain is actually our laundry water drain, so it's about 5ft off the ground. The pump pumps the water up into the drain with ease.

Condensate pump

Comments about Santa Fe - Optional Condensate Pump (4022220):

I installed the Santa Fe Compact dehumidifier recently in my crawlspace. After settling on a location from the dehumidifier, I realized the 26 feet to my sump pump in an adjoining crawlspace through an opening where a block was removed was not going to be a user friendly setup. To make the whole thing more "fail safe", I installed the optional condensate pump just in front of the dehumidifier and piped the drain line about 14" straight up to a floor joist and then with pipe hangars on a gentle slope through the foundation to the sump. The dehumidifier dumps the water into the pump, when the pump gets full, it dumps to the sump pump.

This setup has been in operation nearly three weeks now without a problem. If your location for the pump is not a pleasant area, and the drain line route is not the best, you might enjoy the peace of mind of having the condensate pump which will allow the line to run straight up for several feet, if necessary, without a problem.

Dehumidification of vacation home basement

By David DiBenedetto

Comments about Santa Fe - Optional Condensate Pump (4022220):

We have a finished basement at our vacation home in Maine that has had a mildew problem despite all attempts at dehumidification with the standard units purchased at Sears. Even was so desperate to hook up a drain line from the Sears purchased unit to a condensate line draining into a kitchen sink and left running while away from the home. Obviously a stupid idea when I returned from one trip to find the line disconnected and the water had poured onto the countertop ruining the cabinets below.
This product was easy to install and very unlikely to suffer a similar catastophe due to the excellent quality. Pump also able to handle pumping the water discharge up 8 feet and then along a 20 foot run out of the home. Would highly recommend this product in conjunction with the Santa Fe classic!

Condensate pump effective from basement

By Rob Garber

from USA

Comments about Santa Fe - Optional Condensate Pump (4022220):

Pump installed easily to Santa Fe Classic dehumidifier. Pump proved easily able to lift condensate 10 feet vertically, out of a drain-less basement, and directly into an outdoor cistern.
