Standalone or Ducted Operation
All of these units can be used in standalone applications. Simply plug it in and run the drain line to an appropriate location. All Santa Fe dehumidifiers, with the exception of the Santa Fe RX, can also be used in ducted installations. Available duct kits come with the necessary metal collars to easily attach ductwork to the units for tailored airflow. Ducting also enables the units to be hidden away in utility closets, attics, or separate rooms while ensuring that multiple rooms and hard-to-reach spaces are dehumidified.
Gravity Drain or Pump
The basement and crawl space units can be setup for gravity drainage to a designated area. Alternatively, these units can also be configured with an external condensate pump for pump-driven removal of water. The RX unit comes with a built-in condensate pump.
Monitoring and Managing Humidity Levels
All Santa Fe dehumidifiers feature a built-in analog humidistat that allows you to set your desired humidity level. Humidity can be set from low to high on a continuous scale, and this humidistat should be used in conjunction with a digital hygrometer for the most accurate control of humidity.
