I purchased this heater in December 2010 for my Man Cave (bonus room above the garage). In the winter my room is normally freezing cold and a regular space heater is insignificant. I put the heater in my room and programmed it for 74 degrees and within one hour I was able to comfortably sit in there. After about 2 hours, I was good to go, I mean it was nice and warm. Family came for the holidays and they slept in there and I left the heater running for 3 straight days and it stayed nice and toasty. The good thing about it is that it automatically shuts off when the room temperature is met and then turns itself on if the temperature drops. My room is about 310 square feet and I would recommend this heater to anyone that has a room over 100 square feet. This heater is excellent because now I turn it on about 30 minutes prior to game time and I get to relax in the Man Cave and watch all of the football games in peace. I knew it worked great when my wife came in there and stayed for a while because she is cold natured but she was warm in my room. GREAT HEATER!!!

My parents have a Comfort Furnace and love it. It has lowered their heat bills and they decided to buy me one too. They bought me an infraredapp heater. Two days later I was taking it back to the store and asked my parents more about their heater. I went on-line and ordered the Comfort Furnace and have been very pleased with it. My parents have enjoyed theirs for 3 years.
This is my first winter to use it but so far I'm very happy with it. I don't think I have heard my heat pump come on since this purchase.

During November, after careful consideration of infrared heaters available at local stores and online, I ordered online a Comfort Furnace to heat a vaulted ceiling living room in north central Florida (as the only source of heat.)
It arrived at my door step 1 1/2 days later. It is working amazingly well in temperatures that have ranged from mid thirties to 60 degrees. I'm anticipating "comfort" in winter temps that dip into the low 30s and 20s! The temperature gauge is accurate and efficient. Proper placement allows total safety, and my 3 under 10 pound doggies and myself are happy and cozy in the warmth provided by the Comfort Furnace.
It also fits in well with my decor. I'm a satisfied customer and am planning to make an order for another, smaller Comfort heater for a bedroom - a safe alternative to central heat. Oh, by the way, I got my first electric bill and was relieved to find only a slight (reasonable) increase!

I was very surprised that it works so well, I have had a similar heating unit ( Iheater) and it does not come close to heating as fast or as much as Comfort Furnace. If you used this unit as intended you will be pleasantly surprised. I have recommended friends to ordered this heater, instead of trying to steal mine from me LOL

This is an excellent heater for a small area. We are using it in our sun room. 14' by 24' Does well there. I think some of the heat is working its way into the dining room. Has not been cold enough to use, but we have experimented with it. Very satisfied.

was very pleased with the comfort furnace. quality was excellent as well as the service dept. the only con i would say is that the controls are on the bottom of the unit, rather then being accessible on the top side. with remote control, that is a minor issue. would buy another. over the hill, bill

I've had this furnace (actually I bought two because my brother raved about his) for over a month now, and finally I'm warm in my office (I bought one for my office) and warm in my rec room at home where I placed my second furnace.
They are quiet, they are deliciously warm, and the are pleasing to look at. I like the remote controls, but I also like how easy it is to just walk up to the heater and press a button to lower or raise the temperature. It also feels good to know that the infrared heat is healthy and that the air flowing over the bulb is being treated, so to speak, to be free of microbes.
It's great to see someone making a quality product that works well as advertised.
