I purchased this heater in December 2010 for my Man Cave (bonus room above the garage). In the winter my room is normally freezing cold and a regular space heater is insignificant. I put the heater in my room and programmed it for 74 degrees and within one hour I was able to comfortably sit in there. After about 2 hours, I was good to go, I mean it was nice and warm. Family came for the holidays and they slept in there and I left the heater running for 3 straight days and it stayed nice and toasty. The good thing about it is that it automatically shuts off when the room temperature is met and then turns itself on if the temperature drops. My room is about 310 square feet and I would recommend this heater to anyone that has a room over 100 square feet. This heater is excellent because now I turn it on about 30 minutes prior to game time and I get to relax in the Man Cave and watch all of the football games in peace. I knew it worked great when my wife came in there and stayed for a while because she is cold natured but she was warm in my room. GREAT HEATER!!!

Purchased for my mother who is "always cold" and she absolutely loves it. It warms her entire house quickly and supplements her house furnace.

This product meets or exceeds all expectations. I did a lot of research before choosing this model and it paid off. It looks like a well made piece of furniture and heats the lower level (1200 sq. feet) area for which it was purchased very comfortably. It is also very quiet & rolls very easily - even on carpet. I would recommend it to any one in place of a "standard" space heater.

This heater seems to work as intended and keeps the room it's placed in quite warm and comfortable,(as advertised).Initially the blower fan seems to be just a little loud for sleeping,but I suppose it with time,most folks will get use to it.As far as the ENERGY SAVING go,I'll have to "WAIT & SEE".The weather in the north-east has been relatively mild as of Halloween(2010),and as a new heater to our family,It's just too soon to tell if it is going to save us any money.So FAR,We Are Quite Satisfied With This Heater!
