This product is very easy to use. I can't be certain of the accuracy of the testing yet since I have only had it in use for 2 weeks. We purchased a house and had a 90 day radon test done which came back with the reading of 11. After the initial 48 hours, we had a reading of 5.2. We have had readings vary between 5 - 5.8 in the past 2 weeks. The time of year, weather, etc. also have an effect of readings since our 90 test was done in late summer/early fall, and the 2 week results were done in Jan. Very happy with the product so far. I also like the fact that I can reset it and use it in another home for testing.

I am going to move into a new house in northeast part of the US, and our area is known for potential radon gas problems. I know that radon gas in air or water is a health hazard, and exposure to radon can cause lung cancer. I have two small babies, and I expect that they may want to play in the basement (which usually has the highest radon gas level) from time to time. So I bought this product to check the radon gas level to see if a radon mitigation system is needed, and I also want to monitor the radon gas level everyday for peace of mind.

The detector arrived within 2-3 days I ordered it. I tried it in my current apartment first. The setup was very easy: essentially plug and play. As it is described in the manual, it starts to give readings after two days. My apartment reading is .5, which meets my expectation. So, I believe the reading is accurate, and I cannot wait to see the readings in my new house after moving in.

I have used this product for one week. Everything is great. I have nothing to complain about. Arranging a radon test by a professional costs about the same, but with this product I can have the readings everyday, which is especially useful during winter time, and for families with babies.

In summary, I am very satisfied with this detector. I have recommended it to my friends in the same area. Several of them have tried mine and they were very satisfied.

I like the device, but I recommend that it have a small backup battery so that it can be moved from one power outlet in a building/room to another without waiting another 48 hours for it to report. When it is unplugged it has to start over.

Tested it at work short term, good results. Took it home and omg, the reading was high. installed out take fan (handyman did), fixed his flaw with recirculating radon back in, but now radon has decreased significantly.

Owned this product for about a month. Setup was very simple and straigh forward however seven radon tests ended with the machine displaying the same Err3 code. Tested different rooms and even tried a second home with the same results.

I will contact customer service to see how they respond to this issue.

I bought this unit as a simple way to test for radon in our home, the product works great as described. The product seems to collect accurate data and provides results much faster than testing and waiting for one of those mail-in radon detection kits.

This unit is very versatile as it can be transported to different areas of your home in order to take various readings if needed. It is important to note that it takes a minimum of two days of sampling before data will appear on the screen, and the product guide recommends sampling for a week (short term) to a month (long term). This sample length is important to give a true average for the radon reading for your home as weather conditions and changes in atmospheric pressure and play a crucial role in varying the level of radon in your home.

The product is also very simple to use as it only has one button. This button is used to switch from short term to long term sampling, to test the alarm, to turn the alarm on or off, and to clear all of the testing data from the unit, which is handy if you move it to a new location. I also remember reading that this unit can store up to five years worth of sampling data before it resets.
