The product works well. It took about an hour and a half to install the unit. The wiring connection took a few minutes to understand. If you don't know how to compete a low voltage circuit, do not attempt. For those who know how to make a low voltage circuit loop:
SETUP
Before setting up the humidistat and air pressure switch, strip two ends of the yellow leads on the humidifier and twist these leads together. Turn on the blower of your ac/heating unit. If you see water coming down the drain pipe, then you are good to set up the humidistat and air pressure switch. If not, call customer service, and go through the steps of verifying the transformer is working. I had to get a new transformer shipped and installed it myself after we discovered the unit was defective. DO NOT USE THE RED LEADS COMING OFF THE HUMIDIFIER. This is important. They are not used in this installation.
There are four leads coming off the humidifier - two are red leads (do not use these red leads – leave them alone) and two are yellow leads (the yellow leads are the only ones you use). There are two black leads on the humidistat. There are two wire connector clips provided in a bag to use on the air pressure switch.
You should have enough wire to make the circuit: from the humidifier to the humidistat. From the air pressure switch that you mounted to the humidistat (one wire with two leads going to each unit). The wire I used was standard copper red and white color that was provided in the box. I cut the wire in equal lengths because the distance from the air pressure switch and the humidistat and from the humidifier and the humidistat are the same. Also, I wall mounted the humidistat for easier access in the hallway.
INSTALLATION
The humidistat has two black leads coming out of it. Take one of the black leads from the humidistat and connect it to one of the red wires. Connect the other end of that red wire to one of the yellow leads coming out of the humidifier. It does not matter which black lead from the humidistat you use, or which yellow lead on the humidifier you use. Take the red wire from the air pressure switch and connect it to the other black lead on the humidistat. This creates your red circuit.
Take the white wire and connect it to the other yellow lead on the humidifier. Do not connect the white wire to anything at the humidistat. You will take the other white wire from the air pressure switch and use a twist nut to connect the two white wires together at the humidistat. Let these wires hang, and only connect the two white wires together at the humidistat. This creates the "common" circuit.
If done correctly, you will have a red wire circuit from the humidifier (from one yellow lead) to humidistat (from one black lead) to air pressure switch using the wire clip provided. You will have a white wire circuit from the humidifier (from one yellow lead) connected together for a loop at the humidistat (not connected to the humidistat) to the air pressure switch using the wire clip provided.
Plug the unit in – make sure the drain tube is run to the drain. Turn on the fan of your heating/ac unit. Turn the humidistat to 30 or 40. You should hear a very audible click from the humidifier and the fan should run. The unit should work and you will see water coming out of the humidifier.

Honeywell HE280 filled my needs better.
I returned this product and purchased the Honeywell HE280 which is the same unit except it uses heated air from the furnace and does not require an electrician to connect a 120 volt fan.
