We had a window air conditioner for our upstairs. We decided to try the portable air conditioner. It is awesome. It cools the entire upstairs (3 bedrooms). Very easy to use, set the temperature and other settings, it's good to go. Love it!!!

Parts cannot be replaced!
We had our Soleus for only 2 years when the internal transformer stopped working. Called Soleus and they said they do not sell the parts and I should ship the unit to California for them...Read complete review
We had our Soleus for only 2 years when the internal transformer stopped working. Called Soleus and they said they do not sell the parts and I should ship the unit to California for them to repair! This is a heavy unit and expensive to ship, the labor is $45.00 an hour plus parts, I might as well buy a new unit. It will definitely never be a Soleus again!!! I'm an electrician and could have easily fixed this myself but apparently they don't want this.

I'm very disappointed in the unit, I was hoping to use it in my mobile home for the living/kitchen area approx. 14x20 room. Even though I had the unit set in 61 degrees per the book for maximum cooling effect the room still reached 90 degrees. My home has the energy efficient double paned windows and when I was using the 10000 btu window unit it never got this warm. So I've placed the window unit back in the window, I'm hoping the heating aspect of the Soleus works better.

The Soleus PH3-12R-03 functions well and as advertised. I have yet to use the heat pump, but I am sure it will work well. The air conditioner works like a dream, and is relatively quiet. My friends and neighbors are impressed. One caveat: the exhaust connector should be a little more robust. Other than that, I would recommend this aircon/heat pump to anyone.

I just recently purchased this item and was the best thing i have order.It cools awesome.Its quality and features are excellent.I would recommend this item to friends and family.Its 5 features. heat.air conditioner,dehumidifier,removes and cleans air quality.I have never been so happy.
