Purchased this unit to replace an old Kenmore that died. Located in basement of old house - stone foundation. About 200 ish square feet. Without dehumidification averages about 80% relative humidity measured with hygrometer. Kenmore would run continuously and keep it at about 60%. Soleus dropped humidity from 80% to 57% average in about a day and retains that level. Set to continuous on, but it does cycle off regularly when humidity level reached (I have it set at 50%.....the hygrometer is on the other side of the basement). Very quiet - can't hear it running when upstairs. Bought this unit rather than others, as I did not need a built in pump - I run this unit into a separate condensate pump. So far first 60 days is good and would buy again.

I have a very large and finished basement area that gets very humid and musky in the summer. Have a 45 pint unit that had not been cutting it. Purchased this bigger unit and right out if the box it read the Humity level at 15% higher than the other unit and a seperte gage that I have. I was told buy the company to run at continuous level for 24 hours and it would correct itself. It did not. I like the look, quiet run and effectiveness of the product, so I returned it for a new one. Same issue. I am done and very Dissapointed with the unit.

We have gone through several humidifers over the years. So far, this is the best one - but still not perfect. It is noisier than we expected it to be, but quieter than others we have had. If it was quieter then this would be a 5-star review.

I am using this at my cabin in the N GA mountains. It really works well. You can attach a hose for continuous dumping of the water, but it is located in a difficult spot to get on there the first time. There is also this piece of styrofoam that acts as a floater for the water level that looks like packaging material. I'm glad I called and left it alone/as is. Other than that, it is doing as expected. If you remove the water pan, it's a little tricky to dump and not get water all over you, but you figure that out fast. It's really amazing how much water is in the air!

I live in a two bedroom/bath apt in South Texas. We keep the humidity @ 40% so that no mold or bacteria can grow. The comfort level is wonderful, this summer's usage will be even better!
This unit produces buckets of water out of the air! It is easy to program and easy to empty!!
It already has all of the bells and whistles necessary and it works very well!

This Dehumidifier has resolved our problem with excess condensation in our Motorhome. We are currently in Washington state with high humidity and very frequent rain. The interior humidity is gone!

I bought two of these units. On one the sensor that tells if the tank is full came loose on the third time I emptied the bucket and had to be snapped back into place. Lets see if it comes off again. It is working now and is effective when it runs.
The tank is hard to remove at times.

This unit pulls out excess humidity FAST! We use it in our Florida vacation home on the river. As soon as we get there, we turn it on and within an hour any musty or moldy smells are gone and we are dumping a lot of water that has been removed from the air. Fairly quiet at night, actually adds a little "white noise" that my wife claims helps her to sleep even better. Very good design and easy to use. It does blow out some warm air but that is no big issue.
