It operates as one would expect. However, the blue display with the wimpy LED's is near impossible to read. Why not use a fluorescent display?
I would only recommend this product to someone with excellent vision.

I'm sorry that I had to return this heater. The theory and idea sounded great but it didn't work for me. It didn't maintain the temperature automatically and I had to keep increasing the heat because it would feel like it was blowing cold air.

This unit definitely makes the space where I spend most of my day very comfortable! And, I don't have to heat the rest of the house.

The heater is encased in a solid secure feeling little housing. I expected a more substantial heater with perhaps a stronger flow of air than I got with this. The strength and ability to heat a room compares with other tiny space heaters I own which were a third of the price, so it was a disappointment. However, I do like that the plug is grounded and that the heater won't likely tip over easily, so would recommend it if this was the primary concern. Other than that, I wasn't impressed.

Bought it for my 88 year old parents in Maine. They love it... light, quiet, and easy to operate. Great heater. Now I want one.

This little heater is well worth the money. It's compact and heats a large area. The unit itself does not get hot so I don't have to worry about our pets getting too close or knocking it over. The remote is a great convenience, we didn't care that it had a remote, but it is handy. We considered a radiant heat model but decided that the circulation of heat on this unit would be a better performer. The fan is very quiet, hardly know it's running. We like that this unit has a 5 year warranty while most other brands only offer 1-3 year warranties.

My only complaint so far is in how it was shipped. The box was not sealed and it was not packed within another box. It would have made it easy for someone to tamper with it.

Overall, we really like this unit and wouldn't hesitate to buy another product from this company.

This is a small heater that puts out considerable heat. The remote control is very handy and being able to set it for a particular temp and having it do the rest is great. Just right for my small bedroom.

The product arrived in record time. We are using the heater in an office space which is always cold in the winter. The Vornado Touchstone is quiet, efficient and keeps the room at a constant temperature. We like the remote control feature as you can keep it handy on your desk.
