Selectable Power and Humidity Levels
The Soleus CFM-40E is equipped with a built-in humidistat that offers 3 humidity settings: 50%, 60%, and 70%. In default mode—the mode the unit automatically adjusts to when it's turned on—the dehumidifier runs continuously, no matter what the room humidity is. Upon reaching a relative humidity lower than the selected level, the dehumidifier stops running automatically. Three power levels including quiet, medium, and high allow you to control the unit's energy consumption and adjust its noise level.

Protection From Water Overflow
The dehumidifier features a 12.5-pint water collection tank with a tank control system that prevents overflow. A magnetic float level indicator included in the tank provides accurate water level readings. When the tank reaches capacity, a "Tank Full" indicator light will activate, and the unit will turn off automatically. Only after the tank is emptied manually can normal operation resume.

Automatic Gravity Drainage
The CFM-40E is equipped with a continuous drainage port that enables automatic gravity drainage. To activate, attach a commercial-grade hose with an inner diameter of 15 mm. to the port and position the hose downhill so that water can drain out using the force of gravity.

Low Noise Level
Caster wheels make it easy to move the unit room to room. Additionally, operating the dehumidifier in "Quiet" mode reduces its overall noise level to 43 decibels. This is roughly equivalent to the sound of raindrops.
