The Soleus Air DP1-70-03 Dehumidifier combines large capacity water removal with efficient and easy operation. The unit can remove up to 70 pints of water from the air per day at saturation (about 35 pints at AHAM), making it an excellent solution for damp basements and other rooms in your home that are plagued by high moisture. Notably, this home dehumidifier has earned an Energy Star rating from the U.S. Department of Energy and the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency for efficient and eco-friendly operation. It does not emit harmful greenhouse gases, and it can help contribute to monthly savings on your energy bill.

Simple Humidity Control
This 3-speed Soleus Air dehumidifier includes a breadth of features designed to take the worry out of regular operation. An automatic adjustable humidistat will maintain your selected humidity level by cycling on and off automatically throughout the day. You can set the humidity level for anywhere from 35% to 80% using the unit’s easy-to-read digital display. Keep in mind that the recommended indoor humidity level is between 30 and 50%. This unit is also equipped to handle continuous operation for heavier moisture removal tasks. Additionally, the dehumidifier features a programmable timer that allows you to program automatic shut-off after 2 or 4 hours.

Overflow Protection
The DP1-70-03 home dehumidifier includes overflow protection that keeps your mind at ease. When the unit’s 17-pint tank reaches full capacity, a "Tank Full" indicator light will illuminate, and the unit will turn off automatically. Only after you empty the tank manually will normal operation resume.

Automatic Gravity Drainage
Continuous gravity drainage of collected water is possible using the drainage port located on the side of the unit. This option allows you to run the Soleus dehumidifier continuously without having to empty the water bucket. To set up gravity drainage, thread a standard garden hose (not included) onto the port nozzle and position the hose downhill so that water can drain out into a floor drain using the force of gravity.
