We bought the heater to add supplemental heat in a cold master bedroom and wanted something that looked more attractive than the typical radiator-type heater. Since there are many, many different heaters on the market, it was a chore to sort through all the choices. My default position ended up being to look at the same brand as the dehumidifier we bought about a year and a half ago. This Soleus Air heater both looks and works great! It has both thermostatic and HI-LOW controls to regulate the comfort level. An important thing to remember is to not ask the heater to do something for which it is not intended to do - which is to be the primary heat source for an area. Provided you already have a primary heat source for a room, this heater will not disappoint.

This is my third heater and I enjoy the type of heat it puts out and the fact that it is quiet. My first lasted for about two years running all the time in winter. I have one in my studio and one for the dogs in there room. I recomend this heater for a little extra heat where you need it.....

I have been using this product for several months now. I have a large bedroom with cathedral ceilings and some tile on the floor. It has done a good job bringing this room up to a comfortable sleeping temp. I will turn on the heater about an hour before I retire. I then reduce the temp to about 63 and set the wattage on low. Having the remote has been helpful if the room becomes to hot to either lower the temp or shut the heater off. I feel comfortable knowing the heater has a safety anti-tip and overheat protection in its circuit. I have also used the automatic timer shut-off for a few nights and this seemed to work well also.

It has some nice lines, which gives it an attractive appearance in the room. It produces a "dry" heat, which may be a problem for some people. Beware that it took a few days for the protective "oil" to burn off. This created a slight smell, but as noted did disappear overtime. I feel it has saved me money and was a good price for the product.

I would have liked to have had a fan that would blow out the heat. Otherwise, it's fine.

This heater was given to me as a gift. It is the most wonderful "space" heater I have ever seen. Since it is on wheels, it goes everywhere with me. I heat the bathroom up on cold mornings before showering. I call it "Have heat will travel." I highly recommend this heater. Even the dog loves it. When it is on, it is completely silent. No noise whatsoever. If you're cold all the time, like I am, buy this heater. You won't be sorry!
