Using electricity, this petite fireplace fills your room with warmth while keeping you and your family safe from the hazards typically associated with wood-burning fireplaces. These electric fireplaces are simple to operate, environmentally friendly, and energy-efficient. With four finishes to choose from, there is a Walden electric fireplace to match any décor and to bring the classic elegance of fireplace to your room.

Give Your Room an Instant Facelift

Available in mahogany, plantation oak, antique white, and black, these SEI compact electric fireplaces – with adjustable, realistic flames – instantly add a classic distinction to any room. Chiseled columns frame the firebox on each side, and understated molding caps off this beautiful fireplace. The mantel supports up to 20 pounds, making this model the perfect addition to your living room, bedroom, or den. Since the unit does not have to be installed, it’s not stationery. This means that you can easily move your electric fireplace into the dining room for romantic dinners, into the living room for cozy family moments, or anywhere else with an electric outlet.

User-Friendly Design

Say goodbye to chopping firewood and stoking the fire. The ideal amount of heat and the perfect flame are at your fingertips with these electric fireplace heaters. In fact, the SEI Walden fireplace can heat up to 1,500 cubic feet in only 24 minutes.

Cleverly hidden behind the front grille panel, the Walden’s control panel includes convenient controls to adjust the heat and flame to your optimal settings. Two buttons on the left of the control panel allow you to activate and adjust the thermostat. Simply press the power button to turn the heater on or off. Use the dial to toggle between three heat settings: low, medium, and high. These electric fireplaces can also automatically maintain your desired temperature. To use this feature, turn the heater on and allow your room to reach a comfortable temperature. Then, lower the thermostat until it turns off. The unit will automatically cycle on and off to maintain that temperature.

To ignite your LED flame, use the controls on the right side of the control panel. Press the power button to turn the flame on, and turn the dial to adjust the flame intensity.

You can also adjust the flame and heat settings with the Walden’s remote control while relaxing comfortably in your favorite spot.

Environmentally Conscious and Energy-Efficient

This SEI electric fireplace isn’t just a beautiful accent piece for your home décor; it’s also good for the environment. Since the Walden doesn’t use wood or fossil fuels to create heat, it does not produce harmful emissions or pollutants like traditional fireplaces. Also, because there is no combustion, the fireplace remains cool to the touch.  A safety thermal overload protector adds another layer of security when operating the fireplace. This function automatically cuts power to the unit in case of overheating.

This electric heater is remarkably energy-efficient as well. Using just a standard wall outlet, the Walden only consumes about as much energy as a coffee maker.

* WARNING: Positioning anything on top of your fireplace mantel poses a degree of risk, especially in the case of electronic appliances or equipment. If you elect to display a television, we recommend using a slim profile, flat-screen television. Position it away from the front edge of the mantel to protect the television from heat generated by the firebox.
