With a 70-degree oscillating capability, 3 heat settings, and a digital thermostat, it's easier than ever to enjoy even, exact, and consistent heat in any room of your home. The SH-1509 heater also includes an onboard ionizer that helps clear the air of allergens and particles.

Four Operating Modes

The Sunpentown SH-1509 space heater includes 4 operating modes – Low, High, Auto, and Fan-Only. On Low, the unit heats your space consistently with 800 watts of power. On High, the unit consumes 1,500 watts of power to deliver quick warmth to a cold space. In Auto mode, the unit automatically maintains a preselected temperature by cycling the power on and off periodically. This setting is especially useful when you want to conserve energy (and save money) by not running the heater continuously throughout the day. Lastly, this portable heater also features a Fan-Only mode for summertime use and year-round air circulation.

Air-Freshening Ionizer

While the SH-1509 portable heater heats your space, an onboard ionizer releases negative ions into the air that help remove airborne particles and, in turn, freshen your air. As the negative ions circulate throughout a room, they attach themselves to positively charged particles – such as dust, pollen, mold, and ragweed particles – forming larger particles that are too heavy to remain floating. These particles then drop to the floor to be swept up during your next cleaning round. The ionizer works in conjunction with the heater's built-in air filter, which captures and removes particles as air flows through the unit.
