The water in California is very hard and the one we had was so hard to clean after use.
This one seems very easy to keep it clean and very quiet.
One thing is that when you use this in the maximum vapor mode, the bottom of the counter gets very wet. At first, we placed it on the floor and the floor got so wet.
However, we are very happy with this product over all.

So far so good. We love this little box. Its so cool that people ask "what in the world is that? Leave it to the Swiss to design something as modern and functional as this is and all it really does is humidify the air; it does a whisper quite job of it too.
I can't wait to be able to acquire something else from their line. I used to have an old evaporative humidifier that looked so medicinal and clunky. If you need something for your bedroom or a single room, and want the modern lines that this offers then this is the unit for you. I even had an opportunity to discuss this item with the Stadler Form distributor for the USA and she was very helpful. The whole purchasing process with Sylvane was efficient. I just wish that as a Canadian customer, we didn't get dinged so heavily by the UPS brokerage fees to bring this item into Canada but that's the price of living north of the 49th parallel, I guess!
