Manual control units are less expensive than similar digital models - and have the added convenience of automatically restarting after a power failure. Manual control is specifically recommended for
use in server rooms or for use with pets at home.
Self-Evaporating Technology - during the cooling process water is extracted from the air into the unit. Most
of this water is then recycled and used to cool the cooling coils and
make it run more efficiently, improving cooling as well as saving energy.
This process either eliminates or reduces the need to manually empty
water from the collection tray (depending on the level of humidity in
your environment).
