The Sunpentown WA-1811S Window Air Conditioner cools and removes excess humitity to keep your space comfortable. With an energy-efficiency ratio (EER) of 10.7 and a helpful energy saver mode, this Energy Star-rated air conditioner lowers the room temperature while conserving electricity. This room air conditioner includes a window installation kit, a reusable air filter, and adjustable louvers. The Sunpentown 18,500-BTU Window Air Conditioner is recommended for areas as large as 1,100 square feet.

Flexible Window Installation

The Sunpentown WA-1811S Air Conditioner was designed to mount in windows with a minimum width of 26.5 inches and a maximum width of 40.5 inches. The fully equipped window kit provides all the essentials for secure installation. In addition to a mounting hardware set, the installation kit includes two accordion panels and a window sash seal— all you'll need is a screwdriver.

Fan – When the outdoor temperature drops, give your AC a break by switching to fan mode. Fan-only operation helps you avoid indoor stuffiness by providing a continuous flow of fresh air ventilation. The Sunpentown WA-1811S Air Conditioner features four fan speed settings: high, medium, low, and auto.

Cool – Cool mode, the main function of this window air conditioner, forces heat out of your space and replaces it with a direct stream of fresh, cool air. Every minute the Sunpentown WA-1811S pulls in up to 760 cubic feet of hot air and exhausts it outside through the air grille. In cool mode, this room air conditioner lowers your indoor temperature to as low as 62 degrees Fahrenheit with a cooling capacity of 18,500 BTUs.

Dry – In dry mode, this air conditioner acts as a dehumidifier, extracting moisture from the air as it cools your home. This function not only gives you fast relief from indoor humidity, but it also saves electricity, as the air conditioner does not have to work as hard to cool your space. The Sunpentown WA-1811S Window AC removes 3.27 pints of moisture per hour in dry mode.

Auto – When set in auto mode, the Sunpentown WA-1811S automatically maintains your ideal temperature. If no settings have been programmed, the air conditioner will monitor the room temperature and initiate the fan cycle or start the cooling process when necessary. This window air conditioner operates in a temperature range between 62 degrees Fahrenheit and 86 degrees Fahrenheit in auto mode.
