Installation Notes: All units will require an exhaust hose to be vented outside of the room being cooled. Window brackets are included for convenient venting outside. If a window is unavailable - units can oftentimes be vented through a whole in the wall, into a drop ceiling, or through a sliding door. Please contact us for advice on venting in your particular situation.
Portable air conditioner units may collect condensate during operation. Many of these models will evaporate and exhaust much of this moisture through their exhaust hoses - but in some cases condensate may still collect. This condensate will need to be emptied or removed. There are several different methods for removing this condensate. The water can be emptied manually using a pan or similar container. A permanent drain line can be connected to the unit to allow the water to feed out of the AC unit by gravity. Lastly a condensate pump accessory can be purchased which can be setup for water to drain into the pump and then for the pump to push the water through tubing out of the home or office.
