A convenient window panel kit and air hose allow you to exhaust condensate water out a room window. The self-evaporating condensate removal method is recommended for dry climates.
For humid conditions, this portable air conditioner also has a manual drain option. To empty excess water manually, remove the unit’s drain plug and release water into a drain pan. The tank should be emptied once a week.
Various Operating Modes
In addition to providing powerful portable cooling, the Toyotomi TAD-30K room air conditioner also functions as a fan and dehumidifier. In fan mode, the portable cooler is designed to circulate room air without temperature adjustment. The fan has three speed settings.
This portable air conditioner also tackles humidity for optimum comfort. In dehumidifying mode, the air cooler works in conjunction with the fan to remove excess moisture from your indoor air. The Toyotomi 10,000-BTU portable air conditioner extracts over 11 gallons of excess water per day.

It does a very good job of cooling small spaces (10,000BTUs). A drawback is that the cold air vent cannot be adjusted vertically it is permanently set to blow downward at a slight angle. It only can be adjusted horizontally. Also, for greater flexibility in placement, the exhaust hose could be about three or four feet longer but it is of an adequate length.

The TAD-30K works great (it saved the day during our recent heat wave). Unfortunately I had to make a special window insert for my "crank-out" windows, but it works as advertised. The fan noise is a bit loud.

Ive had this Unit for a couple months and i must say its very impressive and the fact that I need not worry about emptying excess water ever so often.Also its very powerful in its class.

I love this product. My only suggestion is that the panel that goes in the window somehow be redesigned so that it can fit into Pella windows without requiring duct tape to keep the hose from pulling the panel down and away from the window.
