We are temporarily living in an apartment complex. The cigarette smoke from neighboring units was literally waking us up at night. It was so thick and was causing respiratory problems for my husband who uses a CPAP machine. We bought two Alen A350 units, one for the living area and one for the bedroom. We leave them set on low and if necessary on the 2nd level. They are quiet and thorough. What a difference!

Skeptic Wife won't go with out her Allen

My wife has been suffering from allergies all her life. We have tried other purifiers that were not successful so she was very skeptical when I order not one, but two A350's.

We have now used the Allen for about a month. The purifiers make the bedroom air feel crisp and clear. The noise level is minimal especially on the lowest setting and the timer makes it easy turning the purifier on and forgetting about it. She really loves the fact that no ozone is produced by the built-in ionizer. The ozone by product was the reason she returned her last purifier!

My wife loves her Allen's so much she is buying one for her parents.

I recently found out I was allergic to our four cats. There was no way I was getting rid of them, so I did research and found out one of the best ways to fight pet dander is with an air purifier. I did a lot of research on air purifiers and this Alen A350 Air Purifier kept coming up on all of my searches as the most economical and best product around. We bought two of them, one for the master bedroom and one for the living room/kitchen (for an apartment).

We've had them seven days now and I can honestly say that the air quality in our apartment is noticeably better. When you walk in the door, its no longer "stuffy" and I don't sneeze immediately. The air feels cleaner and smells cleaner. Even my husband has noticed a remarkable difference and has commented how glad he is that we purchased both air purifiers. I HIGHLY recommend this product to anyone who is looking to improve the air quality of their residence, no matter what the circumstances are. Easy to use, lightweight, takes up hardly any room and very little noise. You get what you pay for and with this product, you get more than you pay for!

My name is Juan Campos and I recently purchased the Alen A350 air purifier. My wife has suffered from asthma her entire life. We recently had a baby and decided that we should invest in an air purifier. Since we live in an agricultural area of California, there is a lot of pollutants and dust in our home.

After much research, we narrowed our choices to the Blueair and Alen models of air purifiers. Since the Alen model is about half the price and rated higher by some websites, we decided to buy one and try it out. In the past two weeks, we have noticed a reduction in dust in our home. I have also noticed that our daughter is not sneezing as much.

I failed to mention that we also have an 85 pound German Shepherd dog that stays indoors much of the time. This was also a reason to buy an air purifier. Since he is our original baby, there was no way he was to be put outside because of our daughter. I also seem to sleep better at night and wake up more refreshed in the morning.

I would highly recommend this product to anyone trying to buy an air purifier for a reasonable price.

I purchased the Alen A350 Air Purifier a couple of months ago and it has made quite a difference in my allergies and quality of sleep. I first considered buying an air purifier when I had trouble falling asleep because I would be sneezing incessantly when I needed to be nodding off. After doing a ton of research, I learned that a quality purifier is not cheap and instead of going with a top of the line purifer, I went with the mid-grade Alen A350.

It took a few weeks to breathe a noticeable difference but it was well worth it. I fall asleep quickly and don't wake up sneezing with red eyes; this is quite a relief since I was on claritin during the day and benadryl at nighttime. This is a great piece of ecquipment but it also has its downsides. At the highest level, which needs to be used to get the air clean, it is loud. Don't plan on using the highest setting while you are asleep, otherwise it is like sleeping in a wind tunnel. It is very powerful at the highest setting, but one can use the high setting with the automatic shutoff during the day when no one is using the room. It can still be used at its medium setting (2 out of 4 with 4 being the highest setting) when you are in the room and the sound it makes is hardly noticeable.

After around of months worth of use, I haven't really had to use the purifier since the air is still really clean and hasn't affected my sleep. If you have allergies and want a better nights sleep, this is a worthwhile investment.

It definitely cleans the air. I did notice that my nose was not as stuffed up in the morning. The problem is when you start drifting off to sleep, the purifier starts really making noise and I don't just mean slightly. The other objection is that I can only tolerate the noise level when the purifier is at level 2. I would love to turn it up to 4 (the highest level) but it is too loud.
