This is my second Bemis humidifier and it's a sure-fire winner. The appearance has been improved over the earlier version; the water carrier is easier to handle, one container rather than two. I like the four speed settings and the quietness of the lower ones. In my opinion, everyone should have a humidifier in the bedroom to ensure better sleeping, less dryness of the mouth, and it helps the wood furniture from shrinking!

I LOVE this unit. It's quiet. Actually, the fan helps put me to sleep. I have very dry skin and I dread the winter with the static in the air. It was very uncomfortable sleeping at nights. I purchased this unit and I had the best sleep in weeks. No more dry ichy skin or tons of lotion. I also believe it should have an auto shutoff if the water bottle is empty.

I use this product in my bedroom in the wintertime to stop that "staticky" feeling and help me breathe better. My favorite feature is its automatic humidity control. I can set my humidity level and fan speed, and the humidifier will turn on and off automatically to maintain that humidity level. This means I don't have to go back and forth measuring the humidity and then adjusting the output based on my room's conditions. I usually let the system run every day using the automatic function, and I find myself having to refill it once a day to every few days, depending on how often it's running. This is expected, so it's not a downside.

I do wish that this unit had an automatic shutoff control for when the water bottle empties. The system simply keeps running until I take a look at the water bottle and notice that it needs to be refilled. However, overall, this humidifier works well, and we're very happy with the purchase.

Leaks

The container that holds the water leaks. I sent the first one I ordered back because it also leaked and made a loud noise. There was no problem in exchanging. Received the replacement and it leaks. Should have returned it, but decided to purchase some thread seal tape and it stopped the leak. However, I have to replace the tape everytime I fill the container. Yes, I make sure that the lid is screwed on tight.
