My friend bought one of this for his business. He's a carpenter. With this thing in operation, I have no problem breathing in his garage work area--I have severe allegy and am very sensitive to airborne particulates. He told me how much he loved this machine. The best thing about it is that it has the cover which when not in operation, can be put on to seal the contaminants inside; will not leak out everywhere like many other air scrubber. I am actually thinking about getting one of theseand use it as an air purifier at home. But the look and size make it kind of awkward sitting in house....I will have to think about it: for efficiency I am sure it's better than those designed for home use because this type of industrial machine is also intended to remove hazardous airborne asbestos and lead, it CAN'T fail and must work. For those designed for home use only, you have to turn it on 24 hours a day because when it stops, the trapped airborne particles will fly out and contaminate the surrounding again. But this machine is quite ugly for home use for sure: look how elegant the Rabbit Air Purifier is!; but it works perfectly well--here is a dilemma.
