This thing turned our large crawl space from a mold-breeding moisture trap into a dry, conditioned space where the humidity never gets above 50%. Needless to say our mold problems are over, and there's no more odor in the basement.

I would highly recommend this product to anyone wishing to condition their crawl space to avoid mold problems. I was even able to install it myself, and I am definitely NOT the handyman type.

I have a very large basement under my house, probably about 2500 square feet, and I also have a crawl space. This thing does a really good job at keeping the basement free of moisture. It is bigger than I thought and it came via a small truck company instead of ups. I had to get a friend to help me carry it down the stairs because it weighs about a 100 pounds. The fan makes a "whoosh" air flow sound but since my basement is unfinished it doesn't make a difference. I would definitely recommend this to people with big basements or crawl spaces.
