I purchased this $500 airconditioner in June 2008 and thought it was great but when it stopped working in July I was frustrated with the service or lack of service I received. I called and they told me I would have to send it back to Soleus, not were I purchaced it at my cost and they would fix it and return it to me. Catch is they will only waranty it for 30 days after that. I'm beginning to think it is a short term airconditioner. So when I talked to the rep about sending it back I said I will send it in the spring because I couldn't test it in the winter, she suggested that I turn my heater up to test the airconditioner. I thought that was a rediculous suggestion and told her I will send it in the spring so when I receive it back I can use it for the summer. I am very dissapointed in this company. I will review it again after I get the aircond back.
